आगे जो बढ़ा आक़ा तो बढ़ता ही गया है

साँस आता रहे साँस जाता रहे

आँख उन की फिर आलूदा-ए-नम देख रहा हूँ

उ’म्र गुज़रे इसी कश्मकश में मिरी

बाद-ए-रहमत मदीना से चलती रहे

'हामिद' रहे आबाद सदा शहर-ए-नबी का

ना'त लिखता हूँ तो आता है सुरूर

ना'त-ओ-मनक़बत 1

जहान-ए-बे-हक़ीक़त में हक़ीक़त ले के आया हूँ
