گو نقوشِ صفحۂ ہستی مٹا سکتا ہوں میں

یہ جاننے کو کہ ہم کس ادا پہ مرتے ہیں

الٰہی بادِ حوادث سے یہ رہیں محفوظ

انتہائے عاشقی ہے آج کل

آپ ہی سے تو ہوا مشہور دیوانے کا نام

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
