आबाद हूँ मैं ताब-ए-रुख़-ए-यार देख कर

तमाम उ'म्र कुछ ऐसे ख़याल-ए-यार रहा

मक़ाम-ए-वस्ल में बे-ताब हूँ क़रार नहीं

गुल-ओ-चूँ होर निकली

सर्व-ए-ख़िरामाँ सरमस्त राही

بے پرواہی داڈر

بندے وچ رب دِسدا

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
