गुल-बदामाँ गुल सरापा गुल ही गुल है ख़ू-ए-दोस्त

जब भी याद आई है मुझे उस से मिलन की ख़ुश्बू

उस शहर-ए-बे-ख़ता में ख़ता-वार मैं ही हूँ

मुझ को अगर मिली न दुनिया की बादशाही
