ایک محبت کرنے والا صوفی محبوب کی رضا کو بھی اور اُس کی ناراضگی کو بھی خوشی سے قبول کرتا ہے کیوں کہ وہ دونوں کو ایک خاص تعلق کی علامت سمجھتا ہے، انسان کو چاہیے کہ ہر حال میں صبر سے کام لے کیوں کہ جو کچھ بھی ہے، وہ سب حقیقی محبوب یعنی خدا کی طرف سے ہے۔

درویش وہ ہے جو اپنے نفسِ امارہ کی ہر ترغیب کے خلاف عمل کرے۔

It is a great pity that people today hanker after verbal recitations and charms and incantations, instead of trying to improve their moral and decds which constitute the real things, and remembering Allah who is the Fountainhead of all that is good and noble in his life.
