दिल को नहीं सुकून मिरी जाँ तिरे बग़ैर

दीद-ए-जमाल-ए-हक़ हुई हुस्न-ए-निगार देख कर

تیرے سگوں میں جو میرا شمار ہو جائے

جس کو دیکھو اسے دعویٰ ہے شناسائی کا

دل میں دلبر نہیں تو کچھ بھی نہیں

میری حیرت کیوں تجھے منظور ہے

پر میرے کاٹ کے صیاد نے ارشاد کیا

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
