انسان کی زندگی کا حقیقی مقصد محبوبِ حقیقی تک پہنچنا اور اپنی ہستی کو اُس میں ضم کر دینا ہے، یہ کام بڑا کٹھن ہے۔
جو شخص خود شناسی حاصل کر لیتا ہے، وہ کسی دنیاوی تعریف کا خواہشمند نہیں ہوتا، وہ انسان کی تمام تر توصیف اور تالیوں سے بالاتر ہوتا ہے پھر اس کا جسم ایک تسبیح اور اس کا ذہن مقدس دانہ بن جاتا ہے، اس کا دل ایک بربط بن جاتا ہے جو الٰہی ہم آہنگی کا نغمہ بکھیرتا ہے۔
انسان روحانی عظمت میں کتنا ہی بلند کیوں نہ ہو، اس کی حدود ہیں، خدا لامتناہی ہے اور اس کی کوئی حد نہیں، ایک محدود ذات اس لامتناہی کو نہیں سمجھ سکتی، روحانی درجے میں بڑے بڑے لوگ بھی جلالِ الٰہی کا ایک بال بھی بیکا نہیں کرسکے۔
خدا نے انسان کو ’’اشرف المخلوقات‘‘ بنا کر جو منصب عطا کیا ہے یہ اس پر ایک بہت بڑی ذمہ داری ہے۔
جن کا وجود محبت سے بھرا ہے وہ ایک ابدی پیاس رکھتے ہیں، پیاس کا جام پیو، پیاس سے پیاس کو بھڑکاؤ، عشق کی مئے کا ایک قطرہ ہر قیمت سے بالاتر ہے، عشق کا مطلب شہادت ہے۔
جہاں ربِ ذوالجلال بستا ہے وہاں کوئی ہنگامہ نہیں ہوتا، دنیا ایک کائناتی عبادت گاہ ہے اور محبوب کا چہرہ اس عبادت گاہ کی مقدس محراب ہے۔
انسان جو باطنی سونے اور جواہرات کا مالک ہے، دنیا میں شیشے اور کانچ کا کاروبار کرتا ہے، اسے اس لافانی سودے کی تجارت کرنی چاہیے جو ابد تک ایک ذرہ برابر بھی کم نہیں ہوگا۔
روزمرا کی رسمی نماز وہ نہیں ہے جو انسان کو حقیقت کی پہچان کرواتی ہے بلکہ یہ تو اسے غرور کی طرف لے جاتی ہے۔
تصوف انسانوں سے بیزاری کا مسلک نہیں ہے بلکہ یہ انسانی مساوات، باہمی اخوت، صلح جوئی اور حسنِ سلوک کا طریق ہے۔
