سالک کو چاہیے کہ دنیا سے دور رہے کیوں کہ دنیا کی مثال کوڑا کرکٹ کی سی ہے اور دنیا کا طالب مانند گدھے کے ہے۔

سالک کو چاہیے کہ ہمیشہ نفس اور شیطان سے ڈرتا رہے اور کبھی ان سے مطمئن نہ ہو۔

مرشدِ کامل کا دامن پکڑ کر ہمیشہ اس کی صحبت میں رہو تاکہ ’’وصول الی اللہ‘‘ کا مرتبہ نصیب ہو۔

دنیا داروں کی صحبت سے دور رہے کیوں کہ یہ لوگ جب دنیا میں مستغرق ہو جاتے ہیں تو خدا کا خوف ان کے دلوں سے نکل جاتا ہے، حتیٰ کہ ان کے دلوں میں چینٹی کے کاٹنے کے خوف کے برابر بھی خوف نہیں رہتا۔

سالک کو چاہیے کہ عشق کے کام میں دلیر اور جواں مرد بن کر اس کی راہ مشقتوں کو دل و جاں سے برداشت کرے۔

سالک کو چاہیے کہ ہر ایک کا ادب و احترام کرے، بالخصوص اپنے پیر بھائیوں کا بہت خیال رکھے۔

سالک کو چاہیے کہ حق تعالیٰ کی عبادت سے کبھی خالی نہ رہے کیوں کہ جو کوئی اس زمانہ میں اس قدر عبادت کرے گا، جلدی اپنے مقصود کو پہنچ جائے گا۔

سالک کو چاہیے کہ ہر کام حق تعالیٰ کی مرضی کے مطابق کرے۔

صفائی قلب اور روحانی ترقی کے لیے اتباعِ شریعت از بس ضروری ہے۔

کوئی شخص بھی ظاہر و باطن میں اتباعِ شریعت کے بغیر کبھی مقبولِ بارگاہِ خداوندی نہیں ہوسکتا۔

تین چیزوں سے اپنے آپ کو دور رکھو، اول قاضی بن کر حکم دینے سے، دوم کسی کا ضامن سے، سوم کسی کی امانت اپنے پاس رکھنے سے، کیوں کہ یہ وصیت ہمارے پیرانِ کرم اپنے مریدوں کو کرتے آئے ہیں۔

سالک کو چاہیے کہ کسی کو حقارت کی نگاہ سے نہ دیکھے۔

The Shaikh said: “You want to enter Qadiriyya order because Shaikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jitani is the founder of that order? He said: “Yes!” The Shaikh said: “There are also many lover of God in Chisti order.” At last the Shaikh initiated him in Chisti Sufi order.

khana) since the time of your Shaikh (pir), and was neglectful of my duty toward God. Now I have become old. I desire to remain engrossed in His adoration all the times. Kindly guide me what to do” Hazrat Suleman said: “I will request to my Shaikh to guide me. You come tomorrow.” Next day when he came, the Shaikh said: “You are advised to reflect image of Shaikh in your inmost being.”
