زندگی میں انسان کا مقام یہ ہے کہ وہ از خود فانی ہوکر مشیتِ ایزدی کی فضا میں دوبارہ جنم لے، یہی وہ زندگی ہے جس کا انجام موت نہیں یہی وہ راحت ہے جس کا انتہا الم نہیں۔
جو غصہ کرے متکبر ہے جو گالی دے کمینہ ہے جو بدلہ لے درندہ ہے لیکن جو معاف کرے وہ محبِ خدا ہے۔
ہماری غیبت کرنے والے ہماری فلاح ہیں کہ ہم کو خراج دیتے ہیں اور اپنے اعمالِ صالحہ ہمارے اعمال نامہ میں منتقل کرا دیتے ہیں۔
تو غرور تکبر کس بات پر کرتا ہے، تیری ابتدا ایک گندہ قطرہ ہے اور آخر ایک مردار جسے پھینک دیا جاتا ہے۔
اسے دیکھو جو تمہیں دیکھتا ہے، اف سے محبت کرو جو تم سے محبت کرتا ہے، اس کی سنو جو تمہاری سنتا ہے، اپنا ہاتھ اسے دو جو تھامنے کے لیے تیار ہے۔
جو شخص اپنا دوست نہیں رکھتا کہ اس سے اپنے دل کی بات کہہ سکے وہ مردم خور ہے جو اپنے دل کو کھاتا ہے۔
بہت سے دولت مند اسیر حرص ہونے کی وجہ سے مفلس و عریاں ہیں حقیقی بہادر وہ ہے جو دیوِ حرص کو پچھاڑ نے کے بعد متاعِ دنیا سے بے نیاز ہو جائے۔
اللہ والے طاعتیں کرتے ہیں اور اس پر بھی خوف رکھتے ہیں اور تم گناہ کرتے ہو مگر بے خوف ہو۔
موت سے پہلے یادِ خدا میں بہتری ہے، لوگوں کے فصل کاٹنے کے بعد ہل چلاتا اور بیج بونا بے فائدہ ہے۔

This puzzled the great saint. So saint asked - I can see you are a devil, but why on earth did you wake me for the prayer? The cat answered - because you have discovered me, I might as well tell you. I knew that if you missed your obligatory prayer, you would offer one hundred prayers as compensation, so I woke you up so that you would get only the benefits of the one.
