آرزوئے قلبِ مضطر چار ہیں

بہت پھول ہیں کوئی خنداں نہیں ہے

نازشِ قدسی رشکِ بہاراں فخرِ دو عالم شاہِ مدینہ

نہ سحر کے حسن و جمال میں نہ وہ شب کے ماہِ تمام میں

بگڑی ہوئی میری قسمت کی ہر بات بدلنے والی ہے

دیارِ پاک خیرالامم یاد آیا

فرش سے عرش تک جلوہ آرا نبی

آگئے اے حرم تیری آغوش میں عرشِ اعظم کے مسند نشیں آگئے

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
