fana hokar hum aaghosh-e-baqa hota to kya hota

dil mein aks-e-mushaf-e-ruKHsar-e-jaanan dekhiye

ek aah kare jo dil-e-diwana hamara

aankhon ne faqat nadani se jo dekh liya wo man liya

hum us kuche ko jazb-e-shauq ki manzil samajhte hain

kyun tur par jaen ai musa wo dil mein nazar aa jaega

phir matam-e-bahaar ka saman kiye hue

dair-o-haram ke pher mein apna bhram ganwae kyun

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
