jahan mein jahan jis ko hum dekhte hain

dil ka aalam aashiqi mein kya kahun kya ho gaya

ye dil hai wo makan jo la-makan wale ki manzil hai

mere mah-jabin ne ba-sad-ada jo naqab ruKH se uTha diya

dil liya iman liya aur be-sar-o-saman kiya

ai mah-jabin kahan tera jalwa ayan nahin

shaiKH-ji tashrif yun bahr-e-ziyarat le chale

diya iman lagaya dagh apni parsai mein

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
