tu agar mehrban hojaye

jalwa-e-mah-e-mubin phul ki rangat jaisi

kuchh to KHudi ka rang hai kuchh be-KHudi ka rang

qahr-e-haalat se yun KHud ko bachae rakhiye

mera dil jis ki surat par fida hai

but ki manind na apne ko banae rakhna

na gul-e-bahaar ki shefta na fida-e-sarw sahi hun main

jab dayar-e-yar se ThanDi hawa aane lagi

tera arman teri hasrat ke siwa kuchh bhi nahin

yun badalne ko duniya badalti rahi

hawa jab diye ko bujhane lagi

mere dard-e-dil ki kuchh bhi jo tujhe KHabar nahin hai

raaz-e-husn-o-’ishq jab tujh par ayan ho jaega

جس کی یادوں میں چشم تر ہے آج

تم رہے آشنا نہ میرا اب

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
