giran hain unki KHatar par zaban ki shoKHiyan meri

kahte hain aane ko wo aaen na aaen dekhiye

aaj kyun nala mera aatish-fishan hota nahin

ghazab hai ada chashm-e-jadu-asar mein

mere arman nikalne de abhi sone de jaanan ko

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
