aankhen be-kar hain jab dekhen na surat teri

taat mein dhyan hai kisi qad-e-daraaz ka

matlab-e-dil be-talab ho jaega

tum rang ho suKHan mein tum phul ho chaman mein

zada-e-rah-e-baqa ghair az fana milta nahin

daulat-e-duniya ki kya parwa mujhe

wo hum na the jo kisi ma’rka se Tal jate

bu-e-KHush deta hai mahfil mein pasina yar ka

kamal-e-nesthi se dil agar aagah ho jata

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
